The Accelerate Digital Adoption Projects for Tomorrow (ADAPT) Fund for Northwest Territories Businesses: Maximizing Digital Transformation

Table of Contents

As businesses traverse an increasingly digital environment, leveraging technology is no longer optional, it’s required. The Accelerate Digital Adoption Projects for Tomorrow (ADAPT) Fund, offered through Prosper NWT, provides financial support to businesses in the Northwest Territories looking to invest in digital tools and strategies.

How the ADAPT Fund Works

The ADAPT Fund is part of Prosper NWT’s Digital Support Program, helping businesses with digital adoption projects such as:

  • Website development
  • E-commerce platforms
  • Online payment systems
  • Inventory tracking

Eligible NWT-registered businesses can receive up to $2,600 annually through the ADAPT Fund. Additional funding from the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor) can increase total support to $10,300 for businesses in Yellowknife, Ndilǫ, Fort Smith, Hay River, and Inuvik, and up to $12,700 for businesses in other NT communities.

Businesses should apply as soon as possible to take advantage of this opportunity, as funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more details on eligibility and how to apply, visit Prosper NWT’s website.

Who Can Apply for ADAPT?

To qualify, businesses must meet these key criteria:

  • Be registered and operational in the NWT for at least three months
  • Serve consumers directly
  • Have at least one employee or generate $10,000+ in annual gross revenue
