The Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) loan’s repayment deadline is December 31, 2023.

You should have already been contacted by your financial institution with details. The December 31, 2023 repayment deadline is final and cannot be changed. Financial institutions and other organizations involved in administering the CEBA program do not have the authority to grant exceptions or make modifications.

If you are managing your cash flow and are not sure you are able to make your loan repayment by the December 31, 2023 deadline, you should consider preparing a cash flow projection. It will show you if you will have the required funds available in time to give you the peace of mind you’re looking for.

As your accounting and advisory firm, we can help you with your projection to give you insight into your ability to repay your CEBA loan as well as your business’s overall cash flow.

For more information on the CEBA loan and repayment details, visit https://ceba-cuec.ca/ or phone the CEBA call centre at 1-888-324-4201.
