Overview

The question of whether **QuickBooks Online free** options exist is common for businesses seeking to manage their finances without upfront costs. While a completely free, full-featured version of QuickBooks Online is not available indefinitely, Intuit, the developer, offers various avenues to experience the software at no charge for a limited time, primarily through trials and specific promotional offers.

These limited-time opportunities allow businesses to explore the platform’s capabilities, such as invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting, to determine if it meets their accounting needs before committing to a paid subscription.

  • Trial Periods: Intuit frequently provides free trial periods for QuickBooks Online, typically lasting 30 days, allowing full access to features to evaluate the software.
  • Promotional Offers: Occasionally, special promotions or discounts may be available, sometimes extending the initial free access or significantly reducing the cost for an introductory period.
  • Feature Limitations: It’s crucial to understand that any “free” access is temporary; continuous use of QuickBooks Online requires a paid subscription, with different tiers offering varying feature sets.
  • Alternatives: For those specifically seeking genuinely free accounting software, several alternatives exist, though they may not offer the same comprehensive features or integration capabilities as QuickBooks Online.

Is QuickBooks Online Free Right for Your Business?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a cloud based version of the traditional QuickBooks desktop accounting software that offers some great features and accessibility not available from the desktop environment. Cloud basically means it resides on and is accessible through the internet.

We like it so much that effective July 1, 2017 we are offering it at no charge for our clients just so that you can see the benefits first hand.

Our free offer includes the Quickbooks Online Plus monthly software cost but does not cover any payroll charges.

Just think…no more backing up your data, no more program updates to install and no more waiting until you get to the office to create an invoice or receive a payment.  You can use your smart phone, tablet or computer for anytime, anywhere access to your data – a great option for business owners who are on the go and need to manage company finances from wherever business takes them.

The added feature of being able to share your data directly with KWB allows us to have real time access to your data and offer real time support when you need it.  There’s also the benefit of not sending in a flash drive or creating a back up of your file to transfer in at year end – we’ll have the information we need right away.

QBO is not for everyone, not yet.  The cloud version of QuickBooks is best suited to small business owners who don’t process advanced inventory transactions, who have a small number of employees and who don’t need a sophisticated multi-user environment (QBO can support as many as 5 concurrent users depending on the product version you are using).

We can do all of the data entry and accounting for you

Wondering if QBO is the right option for your company?  We can help you!  Contact us if you’d like to learn more about accounting in the cloud or if you would like us to help you get set up properly. We are able to help you transition from Quickbooks desktop, Sage or other programs and as well we can set you up from scratch.  We also offer training to help get you started.

Or if you prefer we can do all of the data entry and accounting for you using QuickBooks Online so that you can monitor and analyze your corporate results on a regular basis without you doing all the accounting work.
