What is the Edmonton Economic Action Plan Grant?
The Economic Action Plan Grant by the City of Edmonton is meant to help create a more resilient, diverse, and equitable local economy through matching reimbursement grants of up to $25,000 for projects and programs that support the outcomes of the Economic Action Plan.
The Economic Action Plan aims to create jobs, attract investment, and strengthen our economy by making it more inclusive and sustainable.
Edmonton Economic Action Plan Grant: Eligibility & Application
Now in it’s second phase, businesses and associations that obtained funding in Phase 1 can apply for funding in Phase 2. Applications are being accepted and considered on a first come, first served basis until funds are depleted.
To be eligible to receive grant funding, you must be:
- A local business, business association, or non-profit organization in good standing
- Have a primarily commercial mandate
- Have a valid City business license unless not required for your type of business
